Hyde, Miriam, 1913-2005

Miriam Hyde is a composer, musician and poet. In 1931 she won the Elder Scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music, London. During this time she won three composition prizes, performed two of her concertos with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra and made several broadcasts with the BBC.
